Ingredients
1/2 Raddish, thinly sliced
1/2 packet of silken tofu, 1cm cube
1 tbsp miso
3 cups water
1/2 tsp dashi powder
1/2 saba fish
1 tsp sake
1 pinch of salt
soya sauce to taste
Method
- Boil water with dashi powder.
- Add raddish and cook until transparent, about 10mins.
- Add tofu.
- Mix miso with some dashi soup and add to soup.
- Marinate saba fish with sake and a pinch of salt.
- Pan fry saba fish skin side first for 5mins or until cooked.
- Turn and fry the other side for another minute.
- Serve with soya sauce.
